A Star Is Reborn: How A Star Wars Antagonist And Pop Culture Prodigy Are Hitting The Big Screen

This is how we do it,” thunders all radio stations across the country.

The year is 1995, and things were seeming bright.

What the world wasn’t expecting was an opening trial against football superstar O.J. Simpson, or that heir to the illustrious Florentina fashion dynasty of Gucci, Maurizio Gucci, was to be murdered in front of his office in Milan on the morning of March 27th

Let alone that this murder would be plotted against him by his then-recent ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani of 12 years.

On March 9th, Lady Gaga posted a photo to her Instagram page of her and celebrated Star Wars villain Adam Driver, captioning it “Signore e Signora Gucci #HouseOfGucci,” releasing that she and Driver would be the new leads in an upcoming 2021 film about fashion phenomenon Maurizio Gucci’s questionable death.

Portraying the heart-wrenching marriage of Patrizia and Maurizio Gucci, the film will be honed in on the couple’s shaky marriage that ended due to Patrizia being deserted for a younger woman, and account for the real-life downfall of her persons.

Quoted saying “I would rather weep in a Rolls-Royce than be happy on a bicycle,” Patrizia Reggiani was a known glamour gal who had no problem expressing just how much she loved the finer things in life.

Unfortunately, one of the finer things in life wasn’t Maurizio being clumsy with his money and selling almost 48% of his fortune to an investment fund and withholding the other 50%, nor was it him leaving her after 12 years of marriage for a younger woman.

Lady Gaga, taking on the role of the heiress, is set to embody Patrizia and how she had not only publicly said that she wanted her ex-dead, but also how inquired to her friends about the cost of a hitman.

Set to release on November 24th of this year, House of Gucci, will follow the disposition of Reggiani in 1995 and how she resulted to pleading mental instability in court after being put on trial for her ex’s murder in front of his office in Milan.

Alongside Gaga and Driver, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons, Jack Huston and Reeve Carney, are all set to support the actors in the upcoming film.

Leaving people on the edge of their seats until November, we will just be waiting for any new juicy pictures of the two on set, hopefully giving us any more insight into the film.

We already have our plans for November! Do you?
